It’s a story, especially for our beloved young people given their lot in life but refusing to say woe is me for I am undone and end up in jail without hope. Yes, our young people are pressing on with knowledge and courage finding a light through the tunnel of despair.

Baruwa, carries himself with a President Obama’s grace, charm, elegance and intelligence, someone who is a role model for our beloved young people. As he sat at the feet of Justice Kofi Barnes, the recipient of Excellence in Law, at the African Canadian Achievement Awards, last Saturday at the St. Lawrence Centre, it was evident that there was a commonality on the “focusing on the resilience of the human spirit and the ability to triumph over adversity.”
