
Blackhurst Cultural Centre (BCC), formerly named A Different Booklist Cultural Centre (ADBCC) is holding a series of consultations at 779 Bathurst St, Toronto to seek public input. BCC is leading a project aimed to design and instal a large outdoor mural in Mirvish Village development. The first consultation took place on Friday, Sept. 16th. The public is invited to put forward their ideas and suggestions.

Blackhurst Cultural Centre aims to create what will become an iconic feature in the revitalized Bathurst and Bloor area and make a lasting statement in recognition of the contributions of the city’s Black and Caribbean community.
Blackhurst Cultural Centre (BCC) will have its permanent home in the new Mirvish Village. The expansion of BCC will provide a permanent gathering place for learning, sharing and celebrating the proud stories of African and Caribbean Canadians.
