Cricket with Dalchand Bissoon

Cricket Canada selectors recently named the 14-man squad for ICC World Cricket League Division Two, to be played at Windhoek, Namibia, Jan.17 to 24.

Prior to the tournament the team will travel to Zimbabwe from Jan. 3 to 12 where they will play four warm-up matches against a Zimbabwe A team.

The full squad: Jimmy Hansra (captain, from BC), Rizwan Cheema, Ruvindu Gunasekera, Nitish Kumar, Srimantha Wijeyeratne, Cecil Pervez, Navneet Dhaliwal, Varun Sehdev, Satsimranjit Dhindsa, Parth Desai, Nikhil Dutta and Durand Soraine all from Ontario, Umer Nawaz from BC and Hamza Tariq from Alberta.

The coach is Mukesh Narula and the manager is Naresh Jain.
