The Organization of Calypso Performing Artistes will present the winners of the Kaiso 365 competition with trophies for their hard work and dedication to the art form.
Singers, lyricists, producers and musicians dedicate their skills in making the various events around Carnival season a success.
The event will be held on Sunday at Windies Restaurant, 3330 Lawrence Ave. E. (Bellamy & Lawrence).
The show will be hosted by Rashida Clarke & BJ Thornhill, two dynamic young members of our community and will feature the talents of the young, upcoming calypso performers Ngozi, Elijah & Jordan. Also gracing the stage will be 2014 Kaiso 365 Calypso Monarch Macomere Fifi and runners- up Beginner & Susan G.
Admission for the event is $15. Doors open at 1 p.m. The show starts at 2 p.m.
Macomere Fifi will be the first recipient of the WACK 90.1fm Kulture Krazy Radio International People’s Choice Award.
