Canada lost to host Namibia in their final round robin match of the World Cricket League Division 2 tournament last Friday, finished in fifth place on net run rate and was relegated to the lower division three.
Namibia won their fourth ICC Cricket League Division 2 and will join Netherlands, moving up into the Intercontinental Cup and the World Cricket League Championship 2015/17.
Final points table: Namibia eight, Netherlands six, Nepal six, Kenya four, Canada four and Uganda two.
Canada played five matches in the tournament, losing three and winning two. They lost to Netherlands, Nepal and Namibia and won against Kenya and Uganda, finishing fifth on net run rate ahead of Uganda with one win and four losses.
Uganda, however, defeated Canada by eight wickets in the fifth place playoff s on Saturday. Kenya defeated Nepal in the third-place playoff and Netherlands defeated Namibia in the final.
