PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad — Trinidad and Tobago’s Prime Minister Keith Rowley has been discharged from hospital after undergoing angioplasty on Saturday
The prime minister was reported to have been hospitalized on Friday after experiencing “discomfort”
A brief statement from the Office of the Prime Minister on Sunday confirmed that he is now resting at home after being given the all clear by doctors.
Rowley, who celebrated his 71st birthday last October, visited the United States in March 2019 for follow up treatment after revealing that in 2016 his doctors in California had observed soft plaque build up in one of his arteries.
