The theme of this year’s event will celebrate One Love, the inclusiveness of all cultures, races, genders joining together to ‘be the change’ in the country we love. Guests and sponsors will come together to make a difference, celebrate, and enjoy the culture, food, music that the beautiful country of Jamaica has to offer. The Gala will also be honouring the late Denise Jones with a tribute to her life and works.
Denise was instrumental in the Helping Hands Jamaica Foundation development and served on the Board tirelessly for almost 15 years. Her passion for supporting the children of Jamaica by providing much-needed access to education in the most vulnerable communities was inspirational.
Special guests include Canadian Television Journalist, Host CBC Toronto News Dwight Drummond, Inspirational Speaker, Jesse Jones; host for the ‘Bachelor in Paradise Canada’, Founder of One Voice One Team Youth Leadership Organization Orlando Bowen, and others.
